It has been a long wait but it sounds like the implant abutment software for the Sirona inLab is finally through FDA and should be arriving in our lab shortly.  This software allows us to have complete control of the fabrication of the implant components as opposed to outsourcing for the zirconium abutment.  No more grinding on the zirconium abutment to make it anotomically correct for the final restoration.  We have not heard a whole lot about the cost of the materials needed per implant restoration but we are positive it will be more cost effective for us than outsourcing for these custom implants, resulting in a better price for our clients.
